Kara Rodriguez

TECHNICAL WRITER

Kara earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, minoring in Literacy Education from Washington State University. In 2013, she completed her M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction and holds a Professional Administrative Credential from Washington State University. She has more than 14 years of experience in training and development where she has planned, directed, and coordinated various programs.

While teaching middle school in 2014, Kara was a nominee and finalist for the 2014 Marshall Public Leadership Award for her dedication and service to public education. She is currently an Instructional Coach for Inclusive and Equitable practices where she empowers and supports other educators through goal setting, development, and training.

Kara has strong written communication skills and has the ability to translate complex information and convey it in a sequential format. With her strong background in education where she serves to make learning equitable for all, she hopes to provide readers with clear and easy-to-follow formatting so that all safety topics can be accessed.
